A hauntingly beautiful voice is what I discovered the other day in Canadian singer songwriter Marcomé (pronounced Mar-ko-may) . Life’s hectic pace has met its match in the ambient, ethereal world of Marcomé’s music. Prepare yourself for an unexpected experience into a dreamy, magical journey. Marcomé will [...]
1980’s Rewind
Sometimes I get a little nostalgic for the 1980s? . . . that era of early video games, MTV, and The Breakfast Club. After catching an episode of Full House on Nick at Nite, I put down my Rubik’s cube, grabbed a can of TAB, and did a little retro surfing. Join me as I step back in [...]

Dr. Rob’s UCTV CONTEST
Help me replenish Rob’s Megaphone’s vodpod.
Midway down the right sidebar lies Dr. Rob’s UCTV vodpod, and it is in need of new tunes.
Join me in filling the “live” or on-air slots with weird, offbeat, strange, but “quality” tunes. You’ll have to decide what “quality” is.
I will keep one of the five empty slots for my [...]
I just digg 80’s rock. While I love lots of musical genres, and I enjoy music from many eras, whenever I stumbleupon 80’s rock, I return to that del.icio.us decade with enthusiasm. We all have music that delivers us to a different time and place. Sometimes I’d rather hear hard rock, heavy metal, or easy listening; other [...]
My boys and I are getting ready to see Hawk Nelson in Rome in a few weeks.
Rome, Georgia that is. You can see a couple of their videos on Rob’s UCTV (my vodpod at right). The new album “Hawk Nelson is my Friend” comes to stores on April 1st (no joke).

One of the posters on my “Why should we visit your blog” discussion, mentioned Trogdor. This is for him. It’s a blast.
