And all this time I thought that quasitotalitarianistically was the the longest word in the english language. Now if only I could actually pronounce or write this new one without a copy/paste feature. :)

I had always thought it was antidisestablishmenttarianism. I think it’s someone’s job to coin new words that noone can pronounce.

It’s amazing how both our words use similar words and concepts to get there but you definitely win.

the real longest word in English language is Osseocaraniasanguineoviscericartilaginonervomedullary(51 letters), which can be translated roughly as ‘of bone, flesh, blood, organs, gristle, nerve, and marrow’. but chemical names (when they are combined) can have unlimited letters. also some people believe that aequeosalinocalcalinoceraceoaluminosocupreovitriolic(52 letters)(attributed to DR Edward Strother) is the longest word. so i guess now we all know that antidisestablishmentianism is not even a hard word to spell, or pronounce. try to say those words 3 times without mistaking.

It is a minor lung diseaase caused by volcanic sand. I have pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoconiosis on my bulletin board, and can spell it orally. : – )

It is a disease that you get from inhaling volcanic ash. It’s sorta like Asbestosis. But I know of a word that is 1913 letters long, so I think that word beats yours. ☺
